I have had many nights recently where I suddenly awaken from a deep sleep. On such nights, my mind begins to race and race and race.... and RACE! I am thrust into thinking thoughts that are too deep to contemplate in the midst of my exceedingly busy days. Isolation vs Solitude

  The journey from Failure to Success is ALWAYS about truth and wholeness. Wholeness can not be found in isolation. Isolation is reactionary and defensive in nature. It is a posture based on pain, fear and distrust. We often isolate ourselves from friends and family for various reasons. Sometimes the reason is real. Sometimes it is imagined. The lens with which we view the world may be inaccurate and tainted because of past trauma. Our personal history can obscure our view of ourselves and humanity. We withdraw from social interactions because we falsely believe it is the safest choice. In reality it most often is destructive to our psyche and stunts our healing process. Solitude however is a very different posture. It is reflective, introspective and healing in nature. In solitude we can become. Whole. Healthy. Rested. Humble.
