Isolation vs Solitude
The journey from Failure to Success is ALWAYS about truth and wholeness.
Wholeness can not be found in isolation.Isolation is reactionary and defensive in nature. It is a posture based on pain, fear and distrust.
We often isolate ourselves from friends and family for various reasons.
Sometimes the reason is real.
Sometimes it is imagined.
The lens with which we view the world may be inaccurate and tainted because of past trauma.
Our personal history can obscure our view of ourselves and humanity.
We withdraw from social interactions because we falsely believe it is the safest choice.
In reality it most often is destructive to our psyche and stunts our healing process.
Solitude however is a very different posture. It is reflective, introspective and healing in nature.
In solitude we can become.
Whole. Healthy. Rested. Humble.
After burn out you may need a period of SOLITUDE to regenerate your soul.
When you choose a period of Solitude allow yourself PERMISSION to:
STOP. THINK.
LOOK AROUND.
BOW YOUR HEAD.
BEND YOUR KNEE.
SEE THINGS.
WRITE THOUGHTS.
REFLECT on your life.
GROW.
ASK.
BE.
Where are you?
Where are you going?
Why are you going there?
Seek and you shall find.
ASK and it will be given to you.
Knock and the door shall be opened.
SOLITUDE and ISOLATION ain't the same thing.
